The Tragedy of HAMLET

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

The king is dead. Struck down by a viper in his gardens. Old enemies in Norway stir, and whispers say some nightly creature stalks the blood-soaked grounds of that long-contested border.

The royal court retreats to the stronghold of Elsinore, where the blaze of cannon foundries and the din of shipwrights never cease. Her holiness the queen despairs as her son, the prince and only flower of Denmark, wilts.

The old sink inward and the young cry out; all buckling under the mystery: “Is this the end of the world? Or just the end of the day?”
